Event Summary

The 7th Annual Saving tiny Hearts Gala took place on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at the Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile in Chicago. The event raised over $115,000 with over 275 guests and 265 silent auction items. The evening featured twelve (12) Live Auction Items were highlighted with a trip to Hawaii and the opportunity to throw out the 1st pitch at a Cubs game!!! Event Emcee was Tommy Riles (Audience Warm-up Comedian for "Ellen", "American Idol". "Dancing with the Stars" and many more Hollywood Hits and) Dad to tiny Heart Superhero, Barbara (lifeofdad.com) Special guests, Glenna White Jones (daughter of IL Secretary of State, Jesse White) spoke about her daughter, Susan, and their experience with Congenital Heart Disease.

Nationally Acclaimed CHD blogger, Kristine Brite McCormick Keynoted the evening with the story of the loss of her daughter, Cora, to an undiagnosed CHD (corasstory.org)
