Medical Advisory Board
Saving tiny Hearts is honored to have a Medical Advisory Board (MAB) comprised of an elite group of world-renown Cardiothoracic Surgeons, Reseachers and Cardiologists. The MAB vets and determines which research projects the Saving tiny Hearts Society will fund. With the help of our MAB we can assure you that the Saving tiny Hearts Society will fund the most promising research of America’s #1 birth defect!
Grant Application Process
The Saving tiny Hearts Society annually accepts Research Grant Applications to be reviewed by our Medical Advisory Board (MAB) for funding consideration. Since 2006, the Saving tiny Hearts Society has been providing funding for crucial, life-saving research of congenital heart defects (CHD), America’s #1 birth defect.
The Saving tiny Hearts Society’s mission is to raise seed money for grossly under-funded, lifesaving grass roots research of congenital heart defects (CHD's). This seed funding acts as a bridge for this research to millions of dollars of extramural funding from the National Institute of Health (NIH) or other outside funding. CHD's are America's #1 birth defect affecting over 40,000 babies every year!
